Eligibility

Graduation (Regular). Candidates who completed graduation from correspondence mode are not eligible.

Age

Age - 18-28 years

Number of Vancies

It is expected that there will be 19000+ vacancies in SBI Clerk 2014.

Selection process

Selection is based upon performance in written exam and interview

Exam format

English - 50 marks
Reasoning - 50 marks
Numerical Ability - 50 marks
General awareness and computer knowledge - 50 marks

How to apply

Subscribe by email from the above form. I will update you whenever notification is out.

Expected cutoff

Last year cutoff for general category was 115 out of 200. It is expected that it will increase.

Expected date of notification

It is expected that notification will be out in the third week of January.

    1. no it will be intermediate with 60% for general and 55% of reserved categories and any graduate is also eligible

    i want to know that is PD magazine and arihant book for banking awarness is sufficient for sbi clerk exam point of view..and one more thing i would like to ask is that whether there is quant in sbi clerk exam or DI would be there..pls make it clear so that i will prepare accordingly..waiting fr ur rply

  10. sir i have failed in ibps clerk..though it was my first attempt,i gave it my best shot..still could not clear..very frustrated..i know there are lots of eligible candidates right out there who have failed..please write an article to motivate us to the next exam..we people really need this..

  12. sir i am preparing for bank exam for last 2 year till now i am not clear any bank exam in 2011 i obtained 140 marks in ibps clerk but cut off mark for sc category was more than 180 marks kya karu main next bank exam preparation karu ya nahi please sir reply

    I have a query relating to the eligibility.. I have completed my graduation in distance mode/ correspondence from a recognized university. however the in the provisional certificate (PC) /TC/MC it was not mentioned anything regarding the distance mode . so, am I eligible for SBI exam ? anticipating quick reply..     1. correspondence degrees are also eligible so please don't worry about eligibility and you are also eligible for SBI PO so start preparing now for both.

    i read the post in which u mention that degree from correspondence is not eligible for sbi clerk.
    on what basis u have said that sir as Sikkim mainpal university de is eligible for all the givernment jobs as it is duly recocnized by every body of the government.as please if u confusion about the things plz dont share it.as it can affects anyone.

    1. if you have studied 5 years without break until 10th standard in UP then you come under UP state local and you have to write under UP state or if you have studied 5 years without break until 10th standard in MAHARASHTRA then you are eligible to write in Mumbai as you come under local of MAHARASHTRA

Regarding sbi clerk i want to end all rumuors which have spread and played with emotions of people.yest i talked to my uncle in sbi crpd department.he told there is no news of clk recruitment.they will collect vacancy from branches till aug 2014.he said no contract signed btwn sbi and tcs fr exam.according to him vacancy will cme 100% in this yr but nt before oct.so guys dont believe in rumours

    1. a days SBI run with 33 % loss due to this MRS ARUNDHUTI BHATTACHARJEE decided to reduce the vacancy from 19000 to 8000.
