What After IBPS PO III Allottment ?

Help me to Share!

Test Series

Bank prep course
As I am getting many repetitive queries related to IBPS PO III allotments, so today I am answering all of those queries at one place.

First of all let me tell you that IBPS PO III result is not out yet. Don't know how the title of this post giving an impression that result is out. Here I am trying to explain allotment process.

What’s Next

What if you didn’t Make it into first round of Allotment ?

“Well my friends , What we firmly believe at bankexamtoday is you guys have already proved yourselves by making into few thousand Qualifiers of Online exam Conducted earlier by IBPS ,in which approx. 1 million aspirants had appeared” so there is nothing to console about.

Yet !! What are the Chances remaining for me to get allotment through IBPS PO III.

As I have already told in my previous posts on IBPS PO III that IBPS will definitely come with at least three rounds of allotment.

Why so ??

  • Because of many people who do not get their allotment of choice or in their native state, generally go with other option they have.
  • Second many cat, mat, xat aspirants had appeared the interview process as of their back-up plan, ultimately they will leave their allotted seats vacant
  • Many Qualifiers will go for jobs through ssc cgl, as many belief's ssc enabled job has better profile .

So friend’s these events will ultimately result in thousands of backlog vacancies which will shown –up in subsequent rounds of allotment of IBPS PO III. (Second round allotment expected cut-off)

What is the Proof of above said?

Well ,you can check the list of second and third round of allotment provided to the candidates of IBPS PO II , almost 7000 seats had appeared in the subsequent round of allotment, which is almost 33 % of total vacancies. And also according to various newspaper and words of finance minister while proposing interim budget around 8000-10000 new branches will be operational in order to meet the further measures of financial inclusion.
so, here what we belief still every qualifier have healthy chance to get a job through IBPS PO III.

What you should I do until IBPS come up with another round of allotment?

If you have another choice regarding job join that, until IBPS come up with another round of allotment. And if you don't have one then , what you too know that its high time for the preparation of ssc exam , come out of misery and bounce back like a rock star .

“Sometime you got to dig deep to find what you are looking for”

  10. Sir,
I congratulate you on your positive attitude and encouragement that you provide to thousands of aspirants of whom I'm one. However, I would like to share some points as to why this outlook is slightly not correct. Please note that this is not to start an argument, but a view that I would like to share and debate upon.

"Hope for the worst, plan for the best"

IBPS is evolving their process continuously and therefore this time they might not give any second or third round allotments and instead conduct a new exam for the next year directly.
    Reason for the above thinking:
In IBPS - 1, there was no common allotment and thus multiple postings for same candidates happened. To eliminate this, IBPS came up with common allotment in IBPS 2.
During IBPS 2, preference was to be mentioned after the interviews, and there were some eliminations/confusion from that end, but now IBPS has taken preference at the start of the process itself.

SSC-CGL allotments and exams have been delayed in the previous year, there is uncertainty over the process and thus some candidates would like to get the first job being offered and would not bother about writing or waiting for SSC-CGL at all.

Again, this might look like I'm challenging you, but in fact, I'm just providing a different view of the situation. A slightly pessimistic outlook would mean that people will stop depending on this opportunity to come to them, and instead they going for better opportunities.
Remember, this kind of thinking i.e. "IBPS will certainly come with next round of allotment and give me a job" is what leads to protests, like those of IBPS-2 wait list candidates. I'm not saying whether it is right or wrong, but the fact is, life is hard, opportunities are less You should not wait for anything to go for the next opportunity.

I request all candidates to consider this and start preparing for next upcoming exam be it either SSC-CGL or other exam.

    1. it may be true ,what u said. but this time there will be more number of backlog vacancies as all three allotments will came simultaneously ,po .so. clerk,
And if i talk about cgl ,many Qualifiers of po3 are getting joining through cgl-12 now only and many will not join due to bond and probation period of banks because their ultimate aim is job through ssc.
but the main thing behind this post is to make people understand they are equally capable and deserving a job through po3 , and let not be disappointed if their name does not appear in first list and indeed i too advice people to keep preparing for exams until they get their dream job..

    3. Very true brother... IBPS process is still not very mature and they are still evolving. however their process is actually one of the fastest and most transparent in the country wrt gov jobs. And till ssc cgl is concerned, their process is very long and to be frank their integrity has always been under the radar and with the recent news of reexamination, this has further dented their reputation.
So yes the bottomline is... dont put all your eggs in one basket!!! Keep tryin for other exams as well. Its of of paramount importance that candiates dont let their frustrations build-up... Ours is a very large country, there are jobs available for everyone but only the smartest and the most patient will succeed in gettin a govt job.
And yes brother being a optimist all the time is nothing but stupidity instead you should always have be a realist.

I am alsi having an thought abt it
That the third allotment process is happend after the ibps po 3 interview it may be because this year the final cut off is low than ibps po2 it mqy be a red signal for qualified candidates of ibps po3

May b they want to give a chance to those who apper in ibps po2 and having more marks from po3 candidates

  11. i have heared about ibps interview that there will not be a great difference in min marks ana max marks obtained in interview so that it would not play any special role for finalising the final merit.......means not to create a chance to select a lower merit candidate than a heigher merit candidate in written examination.......and the difference would be at max 5 to 7 marks out of 50. is it true? and what r the chances of selection in first allotment of a obc candidate having 68 marks.
