Discrimination

Definition:   the practice of treating someone or a particular group in society less fairly than others
Usage:  The restaurant owner was accused of discrimination when he refused to serve some customers.

Usage:  Their government is based on bicameralism

Jubilation

Definition:   a feeling of great happiness because of a success
Usage:  His resignation was greeted by jubilation on the streets of Sofia.

Autonomy

Definition: the freedom for a country, a region, or an organization to govern itself independently
Usage : The territory has been granted autonomy

Condiment

Definition:  a sauce, etc. that is used to give flavor to food, or that is eaten with food
Usage : The cafeteria's self-serve table has a full array of condiments

Brace

Definition:  to prepare someone/yourself for something difficult or unpleasant that is going to happen
Usage:  The lights showed the old timbers used to brace the roof.

Noxious

Definition:  poisonous or harmful
Usage:  Noxious fumes came from upstairs and effected everyone in the building

Repugnant

Definition:  making you feel strong dislike or disgust
Usage:   The entertainment-based rhetoric with which audience of television channels are fed is repugnant to the sensitive.

Bias

Definition:   to unfairly influence someone's opinions or decisions
