Had he worked hard, he (succeed).  Had he worked hard, he would have succeeded. 
Had he passed the I.A.S examination he (be) a collector today. Had he passed the I.A.S examination he would have been a collector today.
Radha (suffer) from fever since yesterday. Radha has been suffering from fever since yesterday.
So long as the rain (continue) I stayed at home. So long as the rain continued, I stayed at home.
