Computers are dominating technology and have entered all walks of life. There is a spurt of development in the software technology. Firms like Microsoft and Infosys have pioneered the IT revolution.
Computers have an influence on every field. In medical diagnosis, computers locate and operate a whole range of diseases. Computers are useful for students pursuing distance education. Computers provide tremendous openings for entrepreneurs who want to work online. New avenues of entertainment have been opened by computers.

Computers also have a negative side. Some teenagers indulge in an indecent discussion. Misuse of computers is detrimental for children.
However, advantages outweigh disadvantages. Through computers, the world has become a global village.
