Answers With Solutions

1. Ans. D.

Solution:
Female employees in company A = 240 – 132 = 108
Female employees in company B = 320 – 196 = 124
Female employees in company C = 220 – 150 = 70
Female employees in company D = 260 – 125 = 135
Total female employees = 108 + 124 + 70 + 135 = 437

Solution:
Difference = [(320 – 196) + (260 – 125)] - [(240 – 132) + (220 – 150)] = (124 + 135) – (108 + 70)
= 259 – 178
= 81

Solution:
% = (240 – 132)/240 × 100
= 108/240 × 100
= 45%
