Method to calculate
These calculations are made on the basis of leaked merit list and comparing it with number of posts available using statistical methods. As most of us know about 6,30,000 candidates appeared for IBPS PO 2012 and out of them 62,000 qualified it. In interviews there was 20% absenteesm, further 4000 candidates disqualified due non-submission of required documents. So now there are about 22,400 jobs for about 45,000 candidates. It is expected that many of candidates won't join due to placement location and allotement of non-preferable bank. So cutoffs for waiting list may be as follows
General - 58.70
OBC - 54.50
SC - 51.60
ST - 46.20
