As IBPS PO 2014 interviews are about to be finished. I have shared lots interview experiences and study material. As I am getting lots of questions about final scores and allotment process, so I am answering all questions in this post.

Expected Final Score Cutoff
Final cutoff score for General category will be around 42-43.
How I calculated Cutoff score
Step 1
As weight-age of online exam is 80%, convert marks secured out of 200 to 80. If a candidate secured 61 out of 200, his weighted score out of 80 will be 61*80/200 = 24.4.
Step 2
In IBPS PO II, candidate who scored exactly cutoff marks in general category need 18 marks to qualify. So add 18 out 20 in interview to written score.
Step 3
Expected Result Date
Final score will be announced in the last week of January.
Final Allotment
IBPS will complete the final allotment process in the last week of March. All selected candidates will receive an email stating the name bank of bank you are placed.
What after allotment
After Final allotment, job of IBPS will be over. IBPS will send list of selected candidates to all the banks. Now each bank will send call letters containing joining date and place.
Waiting list
As most of the banks don't have branches in all parts of India, you will be placed in the state or city where there is any requirement. In IBPS PO II, I got Mumbai branch as posting location although I am from Ludhiana. Due to this fact at least 20% of the candidates don't join. There will be at least 2 waiting lists. So if you score above 38, then you have a fair chance to be placed.
