IBPS IT Officer Scale I Exam Experience - 8 February

Today as requested by Raman sir, I am gong to write my IBPS IT Officer Scale I exam experience.

I am writing in the sequence I answered

1. English

Difficulty level - easy to moderate (easier than PO)
Pattern of questions almost same as PO.

A different type of question was - A paragraph which was written in form of sentences. There were 5 sentences of a paragraph out of which you have to choose one which according to you is the central theme of that paragraph. There were 5 such questions. (Difficulty level-moderate to high)

Rest were common questions comprehension, sentence correction, fill in the blanks , para jumble.
This section took about 25-28 minutes and I answered 32 questions which I found easy and less time consuming.

2. Quantitative Aptitude

Difficulty level- moderate

Common types of questions as PO
Maximum number of questions were from data interpretation. Pie chart and line graph were easy and the table chart was very time consuming so left it.
This section consumed the maximum time because I am slow in calculations . I attempted 24 ques in around 40-45 minutes.

3. Reasoning

Difficulty level- easy to moderate

Common topics as PO ( sitting arrangement, puzzle, data sufficiency, syllogism, blood relations, statement and assumption)
It took about 30-35 minutes to solve 31 questions for me.

4. Professional Knowledge

Difficulty level- easy to moderate(mostly easy for people from IT field)

There were question from DBMS, most questions were from Internet and related technologies, some basic full forms ( from networking and web designing). one question was from business models and one from customer relationship management.

It took 15-20 minutes to answer 32 questions(without preparing :P)

20 minutes is enough for this section because you have to read the question and give the answer...because either you know it or you don't.
