I am not an astrologer, but I can analyse the trends. Total cutoff remains 33- 35% and sectional cutoff remains 20-25%. This percentage may vary with difficulty level of the exam.

Tips for Specialist Officers Exam
1) Follow one book for each subject and stick to it.
2) Concentrate on basics as 70% of the questions will be easy. Trick to crack IBPS exams is to identify and skip difficult questions.
3) Time management is the key to success. In my survey on blog, 67% of the readers who failed in any recruitment exam, admitted that they could pass the exam if they had 20 minutes more. You can get these 20 minutes by skipping tricky questions.
4) Never skip marks rich questions. Data interpretation and sitting arrangement questions are marks rich questions in quantitative aptitude and reasoning respectively.
5) Learn shortcut techniques to save time. Go to Quantitative aptitude series for shortcuts.
6) I have noticed in previous exams that no candidate from core IT field failed in professional knowledge exam (IT). As candidates from many other streams apply for this exam, cutoff for professional knowledge remain very low. If you are not an IT engineer then learn all the basics. That's what IBPS is trying to test.
