Blunder by IBPS in Calculation of Cutofffs

Published on Sunday, April 06, 2014
As all of you might know that cutoffs of IBPS Clerk is more than expected in most of the states.

For example - In West Bengal written exam cutoff = 105
So the weighted score out of 80 = 105*80/200 = 42
Final cutoff(West Bengal) = 64
So the candidate who got exactly 105 marks in written exam need 22 marks out of 20 to get in reserve list.

I know candidates are selected on merit basis but don't you think each candidate need to cover a distance of 50-300 kms. Who is going to bear those expenses ?

This time I noticed lot of strange things in the selection procedure. First, interview result delayed by 3 months and then many candidates who got 90+ in PO got rejected and many who got 65 got selected.
Clearly there is lack of transparency in the whole selection process. As all you who appeared for interviews know a fact that it was a 5-6 minutes interview and only few personal questions were asked.

IBPS board members don't read this website and they don't even reply any email. All they have is - A stupid helpline number which feels like a recorded machine.

That's all I wanted to say, share your opinion in comment box.
