Why IBPS failed high scorers of PO and Clerk exams

Published on Thursday, April 03, 2014
IBPS result is out now and it was a big surprise for all. As all of you might know that I communicate with dozens of my readers via my IBPStoday.com, Gtalk, Whatsapp and Phones calls. I have been following bank exams from past many years. For the first time I am shocked!!

Many candidates who secured 90+ in PO failed in interviews although only personal questions were asked in a 3-4 minutes informal interview. Although I understand the inherit nature of interview process but I have seen a married female candidate from Bangalore who was rejected just because she didn't knew local language. Many candidates who secured 80+ were failed, although their interview was fantastic.
Many candidates who secured 61-65 in general category got selected in first list. There may be few intelligent candidates but marks in interview varies according to region. For example candidates from Mumbai secured very high marks in interview and candidates from Delhi, Bangalore and Punjab secured very low marks.

Sole reason behind these discrepancies is that each panel decided to give marks in certain range. Further IBPS delayed results by 2 months. I am unable to understand why they delayed the result and why interview panel failed so many candidates although they asked them few personal questions.

We all know that the process is not fair. Already there are dozens of cases pending against IBPS. That's how our country works.

You should start your preparations for SSC CGL. SSC posts are much better than Bank PO in terms of compensation and social status.
