- MoU on cooperation between the local authorities of two cities i.e. Guangzhou and Ahmedabad.
- MoU between Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb) and China Development Bank
- $105mn granted by the World Bank Group for Ebola Emergency Response Project to fight Ebola.
- Anti-terror Bill approved by the Parliament of France to prevent Jihadists from travelling to Iraq, Syria or elsewhere by confiscating their passports.
- According to report released by UN, India has the highest number of neonatal deaths in all over the World during the year 2012.

- Kaushik Basu, an Indian economist and Chief Economist of World Bank, appointed as President-elect of International Economic Association. He became 2nd Indian after Amartya Sen who join International Economic Association.
