Jayalalitha found guilty in Disproportionate Assets case

Tamilnadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha found guilty in 18 years old assets reapportionment case. Assets worth 66.65 crore were disproportionate to her during her government in 1991-96.

Verdict was delivered at a special court in the Parappana Agrahara prison comple. This is a significant decision and this would impact Tamilnadu's political scenario. 

Now she has to step down from Tamilnadu CM chair. It is expected that her party workers and supporters may disturb law and order situation.

Security for DMK top leaders has been increased as it is expected that Jayalalitha's followers may attack them. About 5000 police personnels have deployed in security of DMK leaders.

Right now Jayalalitha's supports are protesting against Subramanian Swamy in Chennai.

Right News channels are blocked and there is electricity cut in Tamilnadu.
