  • Manmohan Singh, the former Prime Minister of India will award with the top most national award of Japan i.e. The Grand Cordon of the Order of the Paulownia Flowers 2014. 


  • Sadashiv Amrapurka (real name Ganesh Kumar Narwode), the famous bollywood actor, died on 03rd November 2014. He received the award for his negative role in the film Sadak. 
  • Acker Bilk, an English Clarinet Player, died on 02nd November 2014. He was known for his goatee and bowler hat. 


  • Ashok Kumar appointed as Law and Order Director-General of Police of Tamil Nadu succeeded by K. Ramanujam. 
  • Narinder Batra, the President of Hockey India became the member of International Hockey Federation Executive Board. 


  • Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) killed more 322 people of Al-Bu Nimr Tribe in Anbar, Iraq. 
  • On 03rd November 2014, Indian Navy commemorated 1000th Anniversary of coronation of Ancient King Rajendra Chola. He was the Tamil King and from the Chola Empire. 
  • Global campaign to end female genital mutilation launched by the Chief of United Nations i.e. Ban-Ki-moon.
