Assam Assembly passed the resolution
- On 04th March 2015, Resolution on continuation of Special Category status of Assam passed by the Legislative Assembly of Assam. Pranab Kumar Gogoi is the Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly.
Ministry of Shipping signed an agreement
- Union Ministry of Shipping signed an agreement with Toyota for export of automobile units.
Union Ministry of Shipping launched new website
- A website namely ‘Shipping Samvad’ launched by the Union Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways on 03rd March 2015. Nitin Jairam Gadkari is Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways.
- Motive is to invite ideas from general public.
Reserve Bank of India reduced repo rate
- Reserve Bank of India reduced repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.5% on 04th March 2015. Now the reverse repo rate under the LAF stands adjusted to 6.5%.
International Women of Courage Awards announced
- Three South Asian women namely Nilofar Rahmani, Nadia Sharmeen and Tabassum Adnan selected for International Women of Courage Award as announced on 03rd March 2015 while total 10 women selected for the award.
Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2015 passed
- On 03rd March 2015, Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2015 passed by the Lok Sabha. Under the guidelines of the Bill, Government of India will make rules on the specification ofr e-carts and e-rickshaws.
- On 03rd March 2015, Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill 2015 passed by Lok Sabha.
Rani Mukherjee awarded by NIGJ
- On 03rd March 2015, Rani Mukherjee awarded with NationalAward for best representation of Cause of Women. The award has given by National Institute of Gender Justice (NIGJ).

- Kirket, a Hindi film based on Kirti Azad (full name Kirtivardhan Bhagwat Jha Azad) who is former Indian Cricketer, launched on 02nd March 2015.
