SAEF report released by World Bank
- South Asia Economic Focus Report released by the World Bank for the year 2016-17 on 13th April 2015. The report projected a GDP growth rate of 8% for India by the year 2017.
- On 14th April 2015, according to the World Bank’s Report on Remittance, India continued to be the leading nation in remittances during the year 2014 as the net remittance of about $70 billion was received by India.
Vividh Bharati Service launched on FM Mode
- On 14th April 2015, Vividh Bharati Service of Delhi on FM Mode inaugurated by Finance Minister of India Arun Jaitley. The service will be available on 100.1 Megahertz frequency.

- Ri Su Yong, the Foreign Minister of North Korea, visited during the period 12th April to 14th April 2015 to relations between the two countries.
Baba Ramdev to be accorded with the status of Cabinet Minister
- The Haryana Government decided to accord status of Cabinet Minister to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev as decided on 13th April 2015. Baba Ramdev will also be honoured by the State Government in Panchkula on 21st April 2015.

- According to the data presented by Reserve Bank of India on 14th April 2015, HDFC Bank placed at the top spot among all banking entities in mobile banking transactions.
