Sunil Nagal won Grand Slam junior title of Wimbledon
- Sunil Nagal won Grand Slam junior title of Wimbledon on 12th July 2015 and became 6th Indian won this title. He won the title with his partner Nam Hoang Ly of Vietnam.
Leander Paes won mixed doubles title of Wimbledon
- Leander Paes won mixed doubles title of Wimbledon on 12th July 2015. With this win, Leander Pass won 16 Grand Slam titles.
Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis won doubles title of Wimbledon
- Sania Mirza of India and Martina Hingis of Switzerland won doubles title of Wimbledon on 12th July 2015 after defeating Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina of Russia. This is 1st doubles Grand Slam title of Sania Mirza.
Serena Williams won women’s singles title of Wimbledon
- Serena Williams of USA won women’s singles title of Wimbledon on 12th July 2015 after defeating Garbine Muguruza of Spain. She became the oldest woman to win Grand Slam title.

- World Population Day observed on 11th July in all over the World under the theme of ‘Vulnerable Populations in Emergencies’.
Kagiso Rabada takes hat-trick in his debut match
- Kagiso Rabada, Cricketer of South Africa became 2nd to take hat-trick in his ODI debut match on 10th July 2015. The match played against Bangladesh. Earlier, Taijul Islam was the 1st Cricketer to take hat-trick in his debut ODI match.
Haryana initiated birth defect surveillance
- On 11th July 2015, the State of Haryana became 1st State of India to initiate birth defect surveillance with World Health Organization and Centre for Disease Control.
