RGI released the communities based census data

- According to the data released by Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India, the present religious communities based on Census 2011 is that Hindu – 79.8 %, Muslim – 14.2%, Christian – 2.3%, Sikh – 1.7%, Buddhist – 0.7%, Jain – 0.4%, Others – 0.7%. There is 0.2% (29 Lakh) people who not stated their religions.

- Change the World List released by Fortune Magazine on 20th August 2015. According to the list, Vodafone of UK and Safaricom of Kenya jointly ranked at No.1 position while Google and Toyota ranked at No.2 and 3 respectively.
