15th IAAF World Championship concluded
- 15th IAAF World Championship concluded on 31st August 2015 in Beijing, China. Kenya ranked at No.1 position with 16 medals while Jamaica and USA stood at 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Till date, India has won only 2 medals by Long Jumper Anju Bobby George in the year 2003 and 2005.

In the last year 2014, Shooter Ronjan Sodhi awarded with the award. Punjabi University, Patiala awarded with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Trophy.
