Arjun Vajpai and Bhupesh Kumar climbed an untouched mountain peak ‘Mount Kalam’

  • Indian Mountaineers Arjun Vajpai and Bhupesh Kumar climbed an untouched mountain peak namely ‘Mount Kalam’ named it after APJ Abdul Kalam on 21st October 2015 situated in Spiti Valley, Near Bara Shigri Glacier, Himachal Pradesh. They became 1st people to climb 6180 meter peak. Earlier in 2010, Arjun Vajpai became youngest Indian to climb Mount Everest (16 years). He scaled 17 peaks in India.

  • Indian Government cleared the 1st batch of projects under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) for 89 cities from 3 States as announced by Urban Development Ministry worth Rs.2786 Crore.
