  • Syed Akbaruddin appointed as India’s Permanent Representative to United Nations Headquartered in New York on 15th November 2015.


Saeed Jaffrey died

  • Saeed Jaffrey, the famous Bollywood actor, died on 15th November 2015. He became 1st Indian to receive the Order of the British Empire in 1995 and also 1st Asian to awarded with British and Canadian Academy Awards. Moreover, he was also awarded with Filmfare Award in 1978.

Ganesh Thapa banned for 10 years for corruption

  • Ganesh Thapa, the Chief of Nepal Football team, banned by FIFA for 10 years as ban imposed on 16th November 2015.

  • India signed the agreement with 6 countries on 12th November 2015 at International Civil Aviation Negotiations (ICAN) 2015. The 6 countries are: Finland, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Sweden, Norway and Denmark and Oman and Ethiopia.
