  • Zaina Erhaim of Syria won Reporters Without Borders Prize on 20th November 2015 for covering news in civil war. The award was established in 1992 by NGO ‘Reporters Without Borders’.


Nitish Kumar became 5th time CM of Bihar

  • Nitish Kumar sworn-in as Chief Minister of Bihar for 5th time on 20th November 2015 while Tejaswi Prasad Yadav became Deputy Chief Minister. Earlier, Nitish Kumar became CM in 2000 (for just 7 Days), 2005, 2010, February 2015 and November 2015.

  • India-Bangladesh Electricity Link will get loan of $120 million from Asian Development Bank headquartered at Manila, Philippines under South Asia Sub-regional Economic Co-operation (SASEC) Programme.

Russia signed an agreement with Egypt

  • Russia signed an agreement with Egypt on 19th November 2015 with the aim to build a nuclear power plant in Dabaa, Egypt. The estimated year of completion of the project is 2022.
