  • 10 new/revised schemes for disabled persons launched on 24th November 2015 under the National Trust as inaugurated by Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawar Chand Gehlot. These schemes are: Disha, Vikaas, Samarth, Gharaunda, Niramaya, Sahyogi, Gyan Prabha, Prerna, Sambhav, Badhte Kadam.

Winners of Infosys Prize 2015 announced in various categories

  • Winners of Infosys Prize 2015 announced in various categories on 16th November 2015. Prof. Umesh Waghmare won the award in Engineering and Computer Science while Prof. Mahan Maharaj won in Mathematical Sciences. Earlier, the award was established in 2009.
