Finance ministry directed Public Sector Banks to discontinue interview phase in the selection procedure of clerical & sub- staff posts by 31 December 2015.
As of now there is three phase selection procedure for Clerical grade of IBPS. Finance ministry asked banks to continue the interview phase. This decision came into effect after PM Narendra Modi's
speech on the event of Independence Day, in which he promised to make recruitment process of PSU's transparent.

There will be no interview in Class III and IV jobs in PSU.
There will be no interview for IBPS Clerk V.
