Government releases Rs. 25,834 crore to FCI as Food Subsidy 

  • The Government has released Rs. 25,834 crore to FCI as Food Subsidy. In addition to this, wage and means advance of Rs. 10,000 crore will be released shortly.

  • Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) had generated 100 crore Aadhaar numbers in five-and half years since the first Aadhaar was issued in 2010.

World's 1st Sanctuary For White Tigers Opens In MP

First Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement, 2016-17 

  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today cuts the Repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) by 25 basis points to 6.5% in its first bi-monthly monetary policy review for the 2016-17 fiscal.
