IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Analysis: 9 December 2017

The first slot of IBPS Clerk 2017 held on 9 December 2017 has been over and with the help of students' review, we are here with the complete exam analysis.
The exam pattern was same as it was in the slots held on 2nd and 3rd December. English Language paper gave a headache to the students and challenged their reading and comprehensive skills. 
All the three sections remained unchanged as previous shifts. English Section was equally difficult and challenging as observed in the IBPS Clerk Pre Examination on 2nd and 3rd of December.

 Ideal Attempts

 Considering the difficulty of the exam we can say that the ideal attempt should be between 75-80.

Numerical Ability (Easy-Moderate)

This section did not bother the candidates as the there were 12questions were based on arithmetic problems out of 35 questions.There was only 1 set of tabular Data interpretation. T

English Language ( Moderate-Difficult )

 This section had moderate to difficult questions. There were double fillers and sentence rearrangement. But the questions based on idioms and phrases were new. Students were asked to choose an idiom/phrase the was similar to the word given in bold. There were questions of double fillers. In sentence rearrangement, parts of a sentence were to be rearranged to make a meaningful sentence.
