A smart guy from Queensland, Australia booked a domain www.cedaindia.net in November 2013 , used a website template, copied content from other websites and then he proved Indian education bloggers a fool. He made a dummy government department via name Central Energy Development Authority.
www.cedaindia.net is closed now as this guy made enough money now.
On January 17, 2014, I disclosed that CEDA is a fraud but the damage had been done.

Why this Scam actually happened
1) Lack of patience among aspirants
IBPS, SBI, NICL, LIC, SEBI and SSC conducts recruitment exams once in a year. CEDA scam came just after IBPS clerk results. They played with emotions of candidates who failed in IBPS Clerk and PO exams. They could reach this massive scale just because of lack of patience among candidates. Candidates were eagerly waiting for next exam and a fraud played with their emotions.2) Trust on random bloggers
Let me tell you how this happened. Guy behind CEDA scam purchased a big Facebook page related to recruitments in India. Then he published news about requirements, then all the education bloggers in India copied that update and this news became viral.I request you to do some research before spending money.
3) Indian newspapers and news channels need bigger stories
On 10th January I contacted a local newspaper (Tribune) reporter and told him what is happening to government jobs aspirants. I said I will publish this story. After 2 days I called him again and then he said "It's not my beat, I will message you number of criminal reporter." I never got his message or call again and precious money of thousands of candidates robbed by an Australian fraud. At least 25,000 people submitted money.
