Agriculture Field Officer  (Scale I)

4year Degree (graduation) in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri. Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking/ AgroForestry/Forestry/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ B.Tech Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Agriculture Business Management/ Food Technology/ Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Sericulture / Fisheries Engineering

Educational Qualifications: (from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies).

Credit History

  • The candidate applying shall ensure that, they maintain a healthy Credit history at the time of joining of participating banks. The minimum credit score will be as per the policy of Participating Banks, amended from time to time.
  • Those candidates whose CIBIL status has not been updated before the date of joining, have to either get the CIBIL status updated or produce the NOCs from lender to the effect that there is no outstanding with respect to the accounts adversely reflected in the CIBIL, failing which the letter of offer may be withdrawn / cancelled. The final discretion in this regard remains with the allotted Bank.
NOTE: Candidates with no bank account shall not be required to produce the CIBIL status. CIBIL Score requirement is not a pre-condition to apply. 

Selection Procedure 

The IBPS SO Recruitment process to select Specialist officers through IBPS SO 2024 is done in three phases:
  • Online Preliminary Exam
  • Online Mains Exam
  • Interview Process
A candidate must qualify for both the preliminary exam and the main exam to proceed to the interview round. The candidates selected after the interview round are given the appointment letter.
Interview:
  1. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).
  2. The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively.
  3. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination of CRP- SPL-XIV and Interview.
  4. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.
