List of Important Appointments in September 2014
- The Army Chief General of Pakistan appointed as mediator to defuse political crisis. Since two weeks, political crisis in Pakistan is going on, the reason of political crisis in Pakistan that the senior leaders of Pakistan claimed that Nawaz Sharif (the present Prime Minister of Pakistan) won by a landslide was rigged.
- Baba Kalyani re-nominated as Co-Chairman of India-Japan Business Leader’s Forum, the Forum consisting 15 members, the Forum to leverage the trade and investment between the two countries.
- P. Sathasivam, the former Chief Justice of India appointed as the Governor of Kerela. Recently, the former Governor of Kerela Smt.Sheela Dixit resigned from it.
- On 27th September 2014, the present Chief Justice of India R.M. Lodha going to retire and after that Handyala Lakshminarayanaswamy Dattu (H.L. Dattu) became the Chief Justice of India. He will become 42nd Chief Justice of India.
- V. Nagarajan appointed as the Director of Indraprastha Gas Ltd., the company is a joint venture of GAIL (India) Ltd. and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
- Chandrakala Padia appointed as first women Chairperson of Indian Institute of Advanced Study, the institute established in the year 1964.
- Ravindra Nath appointed as the CMD of National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), the corporation established in the year 1955 and is working under Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of India.
- Subhash Chandra Garg appointed as the Executive Director of World Bank. Now, the President of the World Bank is Jim Yong Kim.
- Warrern Harris appointed as MD and CEO of Tata Technologies Ltd.
- Narendra Ambwani appointed as Chairman of Advertising Standards Council of India, the Council is a self regulatory voluntary organization of the advertising industry.
