  • Hindi language is one of the most oldest language around the world.
  • Hindi language is written in "Devnagari Script".
  • Hindi was adopted as the "Official Language of India on 14th September, 1949.
  • The usage of Hindi was legalized by the Indian Constitution. Constitution of India was came into effect on 26 January, 1950.
  • Hindi language written in Devnagari script was first adopted as the official language of India under the article 343.
  • Not only Hindi but English is also recognized as an official language of India.
  • About 258 Million people spoken Hindi as mother tongue.
  • Hindi is 4th largest language of the world.
  • About more than 65% of people of India can speak or understand Hindi.
