Dear Aspirants,
Recently, The New India Assurance Company Ltd.(NIACL) , a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company has published the notification for the vacancies of 984 Assistants in Class III cadre for the year 2017. According to the official notification "The selection process will consist of on-line test (Preliminary & Main Examination).
Candidates qualifying in the Main Examination will be further shortlisted for Regional Language test before the final selection(No Interview)." In this Article, we will explain you about every possible right step in the direction of clearing this exam. But first we want to tell you how this job as an assistant in NIACL is different from jobs in Public Sector Banks(PSBs).

NIACL Assitant Vs. IBPS Clerk

  • NIACL Assitant offers you a job with 2 day holiday in a week which can be seen as a big bonus when we compare it with Public Sector Banks(PSBs).
  • According to Suraj Dey, Assistant at The New India Assurance Company Limited (2014-present), "The work load is very less in NIACL as compared to banks or for that matter most of the government institution. I have to tell you this, I am working in one of the busiest branches in terms of number of proposals which come for insurance. Even then I feel I am working just 50% of my capabilities in busiest of days. There is a lot of scope of career development too." So, we can get an idea from his statement about the working environment of NIACL.
  • Also, NIACL Assistant offers a pay scale of more than RS.23000/-per month(including other allowances) in the initial stage in a metro city which is more than of what maximum of PSB's are offering to their clerical cadre.
