  • Marathi writer Dr Sharankumar Limbale receives Saraswathi Samman for 2020.
  • He is awarded for his Novel titled “Sanatan” written in 2018. The book “Sanatan” tells about the socio-cultural struggles of the untouchables. Saraswathi Samman is given outstanding literary works from 22 Indian languages.

2. Subhash Kumar

  • Subhash Kumar assumes the charges as Chairman and Managing Director(CMD) of ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation). He replaces CMD Shashi Shanker due to his retirement. Subhash Kumar is the present Finance Director of ONGC.

3. Rajesh Kumar Chhibber

  • Rajesh Kumar Chhibber (R K Chhibber), the Chairman and Managing Director of Jammu & Kashmir for further 6 months or till the appointment of MD & CEO whichever is earlier.   • Virat Kohli, an Indian cricketer became Brand Ambassador for Digital Insurance company, a general insurance company & Vivo Communication Technology Co. Ltd.   • Poonam Gupta is appointed as the first woman Director General(DG) of the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER). Poonam Gupta has been working with the World Bank since 2013.
