Eligibility Criteria
Cut-off date for age and educational qualification: 01.08.2026
Nationality
A candidate must satisfy the prescribed nationality requirements, including any of the following eligible categories:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries, subject to applicable conditions
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Candidates should have been born between 02.08.1996 and 01.08.2006, both dates inclusive.
- The standard upper age limit applies to General and EWS candidates.
Educational Qualification
- A degree or graduation in any discipline from a recognised university is required.
- The candidate must possess a valid marksheet or degree certificate on the date of registration.
- The percentage of marks obtained in graduation must be entered in the online application.
Language Proficiency
- Candidates must be able to read, write and speak the local language of the state for which they apply.
- Candidates who studied the applicable local language in Class 10 or Class 12 are exempt from the Language Proficiency Test.
- Other candidates must clear the Language Proficiency Test before the interview.

Selection Process
Online Examination → Language Proficiency Test → Personal Interview
- Online Examination: The examination carries 200 marks. Candidates need a minimum aggregate score of 30% for reserved categories and 35% for unreserved categories to qualify.
- Language Proficiency Test: This applies to candidates who did not study the applicable state language in Class 10 or Class 12. Failure to clear the LPT will end the candidature.
- Personal Interview: The interview carries 100 marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 45% for reserved candidates and 50% for unreserved candidates.

Pay Scale

DA, HRA, CCA and other allowances will be payable according to the rules in force from time to time.
