SSC CGL Exam Tips and Strategies

Many of you might be aware of the fact that PSU banks are going to recruit less number of candidates and number of candidates is increasing as a very high pace. SSC is going to conduct SSC CGL 2014 and this exam is very important for all the aspirants. So today I am sharing how this exam is different from IBPS PO exam and sharing all the resources with you.

Section wise tips

Quantitative aptitude

ssc tips study materialIf you have cracked PO and never appeared for SSC CGL then don't be over-confident. SSC CGL syllabus is very vast as compared to IBPS PO. In IBPS PO most of the questions asked from Profit and loss, calculations, algebra and from similar chapter. Whereas in SSC major part of this section comes from Geometry, Trigonometry, functions, derivatives and other difficult chapters. 

Reasoning


Reasoning section of SSC CGL is relatively easier than Bank PO, simple questions from mirror images, sitting arrangement etc are asked. 

English


If you have cracked English in PO and Clerical exams then you won't find any difficulty in English section of SSC CGL exam.

General awareness


In IBPS PO exam most questions are related to banking, finance and economics whereas in SSC questions are asked from politics, geography, history, science, sports and many other topics.
