Sahitya Akademy Awards 2013 Declared
  • A prize money of Rs. 1,00,000 is given to the winners of 24 languages it supports 
  • Some famous winners of 2013: Javed Akhtar (Urdu), Subodh Sarkar (Bengali), Radha Kant Thakur (Sanskrit), Mridula Garg (Hindi), Manmohan (Punjabi) 
  • Awards will be given in Sahitya Akademy Function in New Delhi on 11th March 2014
151 book released 
  • It’s a pictorial book about the journey of Lt. Commander Abhilash Tomy who is the First Indian to complete a solo nonstop circumnavigation of world in 151 days.
