Success Story of a Physically Challenged Girl

Published on Monday, April 06, 2015
Hello everyone this is me - Sini Jagdishan from kerala.

Today I am going to share my experience with you all friends. I am physically challenged girl with 75% disability. Though I have suffered many difficulties but my parent and my elder brother always support me and boost my will power whenever it came to down. I have done my graduation in BE in Information Technology in 2010.
Afterwards for some months I am trying to get in IT private sector but I didn’t get any positive response from them. And then on 2011 onwards I thought to get secure job in public sector especially in banking sector. I had started to prepare for banking exam; initially I went to give po exam without any serious preparation just for experience purpose.

Then I started serious preparation for banking exams on my own (self studies) by buying different books magazines and trying to solve the question in the limited time and finding short tricks for numerical questions. Initially whenever I got any doubt regarding any question it took 1 to 5 days to find it answer ;either I have to searched in books / magazines or in different websites like +BankExamsToday  etc.

On 2012 I had prepared well for IBPS PO 2 exam but on exam day my health was not supporting me but still I was tired to solve the questions .Due to this I am not able to solved Quant section problems because of the time limit.

On the same year I had appeared in IBPS CLERK also. I had cleared in written examination but disqualify interview due to regional language problem because I have born and brought up in Chhattisgarh, so that is why I can speak only but can’t read and write in Malayalam. So I already knew that I won’t get through it.

On 2013 once again I appeared in po exam and got cleared in both written and interview and now I am in the reserved list. In Interview the panel members are too cooperative and friendly behavior and my interview quite good.

On 2014 I had appeared in SBI PO Exam also and cleared in written examination with goods marks but desperately failed in GD and Inteview though I had prepared it well and my both GD and Interview was quite good also (just like IBPS PO interview) and even plane members were also satisfied with my answer (as per their response and facial expression). May be they don’t want me in their organization that'a why they even didn’t give me passing number in it. Due to this I am not able to qualify in general cut off in IBPS PO4.

After seeing my SBI PO marks I get demoralized, even my confident level also got shaken.

Now my only hope is IBPS PO 3 reserved list. But when till 31st march 5:00pm I didn’t see any notification I lost all hope and trying to console my heart and mind. And make up my mind to prepare and target IBPS PO 5.

But after 7:00pm when I see notification regarding reserved list allotment and got provisional allotment intimation letter in my email, i am so happy and share this news with my parent and my elder brother immediately because even they too are getting tense for reserved list. I thank the GOD for his blessing.

Preparation strategy (those who are doing self studies)

Written examination: - 1st find out short tricks /formula jolt in the separate copy and then solve the paper within the time limit.

Prefer different books and magazines and download previous question from different sites.

For GK:-read daily newspaper and jolt down in the copy or kept paper cuttings for GD and interview purpose. Go through “Bank Exam Today “daily current Affairs it is very beneficial

For English: - read out as many as articles in any sites /paper/magazines.

For Reasoning: - just solve as many as questions.

For GD/Interview: - I had mainly prepared from different websites like BankEXamToday etc. and prefer Competition success Review (CSR).

At last only one thing to say just works hard till your last breathe and have a faith in god.
