Also sign on each page of bio data form and also on 4 photocopies of bio-data form. Paste recent passport size. One of my fellow candidate was having difference in two photographs so he was allowed for interview only after writing a letter...
Around 15-20 min. were spend on each candidate. There were 20 people in the panel and my turn was last. So I have to wait for about 3 hours and my turn came at about 1pm. I was really exhausted till that time.
There were 5 members in the panel. 4 male and 1 female...M1 was looking as senior among them..
As I entered the rooms M1 started looking at me and asked whether my height was 6'4 ??
I replied no sir its 6'2...
M1 : Tell us about yourself other than things being mentioned in bio data form?
Me : explained.
M1 : tell me about your family ?
Me : answered
M1: Is this your 1st interview ??
Me: No sir.... this is my 5th bank interview in last 6 months....
M1 shocked after knowing that....and asked about other 4 exams...
M1 : What are functions of RBI and who is present RBI governor?
Me: Answered.
In between M2 interrupted and asked about relation of RBI with the monetary policy....
Explained....
M2: How RBI controls inflation?
Me: Explained....He was giving expressions as he was satisfied....
M3 : Who is present DGP of Punjab police?
Me : Answered..
M3 : And that of Haryana?
Me : Sorry sir...I do not know that.
M3: Tell us order of ranks among police from bottom to top?
Me : since my father is in police...so I answered that easily...
M2 : Tell us about noble prize winners from India in recent year??
Me : Kailash Satyarthy...I answered....
M2: About Bharat Ratan??
Me: Answered....Madan Mohan Malaviya and Atal Bihari Vajpayee...
M1: Who was the 1st Indian to get Bharat Ratan??
Me: I couldn't recall at this moment.....he replied Indira Gandhi....
M1 and M2 started discussing whether it was Indira Gandhi or Dr. Radhakrishan...
M4 : Do you know how to write and read Punjabi...?
Me : Yes sir....So he given me Punjabi newspaper to read one line and explain its meaning....
He also given me a line to right in Punjabi... M4 was there to test the regional language.....
M4: Tell us about cabinet ministers of Punjab in Punjabi only.....?
Me: Explained...
M2 : To tell us something about Baba Banda Singh Bahadur ?Me : Answered...
Then they give me their best wishes for career in banking industry.........
I thanked them all and leave the room....
