Recently, The State Bank of India(SBI), India's Number 1 Public Sector Bank has published the notification for the vacancies of 2313 Probationary Officers (POs). SBI PO Exam is one of the most difficult exams in the Banking Industry in India. How to Start Preparation for SBI PO Preliminary Exam?

  • SBI PO Exam pattern is quite similar to IBPS PO Preliminary Exam. The Syllabus has no special difference from other banking Exams. 
  • According to official notification, the Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. 
  • This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections viz. English Language(30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude(35 marks) and Reasoning Ability(35 marks). Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 20 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be short listed for the Main Examination. 
  • So, you have to solve 100 questions with good accuracy in 1 hour and hence it can be a tricky thing for candidates. However, with adequate preparation and the right strategy, candidates can easily qualify the preliminary examination. Now, let's start with our preparation plan:
