The ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service as on 01.05.2025 and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues a certificate that they can apply for civil employment and that they will be released on three months’ notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment.

Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.

Finance

Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)OR

B.COM / M.COM from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% forSC/ST) candidates.

Generalist Officers

Graduate / Post Graduate in any stream from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.


Notes:
  • Qualification mentioned above should be from any of the recognized Indian Universities duly approved by the UGC or any of the recognized Indian Institutes duly approved by AICTE.
  • The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate of the necessary qualification as on 01.05.2025.

Service Conditions 

  • Service conditions will follow the Company's prevailing rules.
  • Candidates may be posted or transferred anywhere in India based on the Company's needs. The minimum stay at the initial posting is 5 years.
  • Specialist Officers must continue in their specialization for at least 10 years, as per the Company's discretion, but remain eligible for promotions under Company norms.

Probation 

  • An Officer appointed on regular payrolls will be on probation for one year, which may be extended twice by six months each, up to a maximum of two years.
  • During probation, passing the non-life Licentiate Examination by the Insurance Institute of India is mandatory for confirmation. Failure to do so within the extended period may lead to termination.
  • The company holds the right to terminate the officer's services at any time during probation or its extension without notice or reason if deemed unsuitable.

BOND AMOUNT 

  • Candidates selected for appointment will be required to execute a Financial Service Indemnity Bond for Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two lakhs) for rendering service for a minimum period of 3 years.

Guarantee Bond 

  • Selected candidates must commit to serving the company for four years, including the probation period.
  • Resigning before this period requires payment of liquidated damages equal to one year's gross salary, which may be reduced based on service duration. Additionally, they must provide a stamped bond with two financially sound sureties (not blood relatives) for the same amount.
  • If a candidate resigns or is terminated during probation, they must repay their total salary earned plus ₹25,000 for training costs. The company does not recognize any lien/bond from a previous employer and will not provide leave salary or pension contributions.

  • Candidates have to qualify in each test/section by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company. Adequate number of candidates in each
  • category as decided by the Company (approximately 15 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.

Descriptive Test: 

  • The descriptive Test of 30 Minutes duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Essay – 10 Marks, PrĂ©cis – 10 & Comprehension – 10 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on-line mode.Candidates must achieve minimum section-wise scores in the objective test to qualify for the Descriptive Test evaluation. Only those who clear the objective test will have their descriptive answers assessed.
  • Cut-offs for Descriptive Paper evaluation will be set based on vacancies, with a separate cut-off for the Descriptive Test, which is qualifying in nature—its scores won’t count for interview shortlisting or final selection.
  • For interview shortlisting, candidates must meet the total cut-off score (as per vacancies) in the objective test (Main Exam) and qualify in the Descriptive Test.
Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main Examination (objective tests): 
  • The objective test (except English Language) will be bilingual (English & Hindi).
  • All questions are multiple-choice, with one correct answer. Candidates must click the option they believe is correct.
  • There is a penalty for wrong answers—one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
  • No penalty for unanswered questions. The clicked option will be highlighted and considered final.
  • The Descriptive English Test will be online-only, with questions displayed on the screen. Answers must be typed using the keyboard.
  • Candidates should check keyboard functions before starting. The time limit is 30 minutes for answering the questions.

PART B - Interview: 

  • Candidates shortlisted from Phase II (Mains Exam) will be called for an interview conducted by the company at selected centers.
  • The venue, date, and time will be provided in the call letter, which must be downloaded from the company’s website.
  • No requests for changing the interview date, center, etc. will be entertained. However, the company reserves the right to modify the schedule or venue or conduct a supplementary process under unforeseen circumstances.

Final Selection:

  • The final score is based on Main Exam (Objective Test) and Interview, with a weightage of 80:20. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in the interview, set by the Company.
  • Candidates failing to meet the cut-off or barred from the process will not have their scores disclosed. The final merit list is arranged in descending order of consolidated scores, and only high-ranking candidates will proceed in recruitment.
If two candidates have the same score, merit is determined by:
  • Interview marks (higher score ranks first).
  • Date of birth (older candidate ranks higher if interview scores match).
  • Final appointment depends on being medically fit and complying with the Company's service and conduct rules.
