Circle Based Officers |
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government including an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant would also be eligible. |

Circle Based Officers |
Minimum 2 years’ experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on 30.04.2025 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India. |
- Candidates must submit a certified job profile from their current/previous employer. If it does not substantially match the Scale-I Generalist Officer profile of SBI, the application will be rejected without appeal.
- For those from Scheduled Commercial Banks (excluding PSBs/RRBs)
- Must earn a minimum annual gross salary of ₹9.50 lakhs each year.
- Must provide proof (Form-16, AIS, last 24 months’ pay slips, or employer certificate).
Local Language
- A language test will be conducted for provisionally selected candidates before joining.
- Exemption: Those who studied the specified language in Class 10 or 12 (with mark sheet/certificate proof) will not need to take the test.
- Failure in the test = no appointment.

Selection Procedure
- Objective Test: The duration of objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of total 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.
- Descriptive Test: The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks.
