Qualification and Eligibility

| Educational Qualification | Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. |
| Qualification Date | The candidate must possess proof of passing the qualifying examination on or before 1 July 2026. |
| Regional Language | The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the regional language of the State/UT selected. |
| Regional Language Test | Conducted before final selection. It is qualifying in nature, and candidates who fail the test will be disqualified. |
| Age Limit | 21 to 30 years as on 1 July 2026. |
| Date of Birth | Born between 2 July 1996 and 1 July 2005, both dates inclusive. |
| Nationality | Indian citizen or another eligible category specified in the official recruitment notification. |

Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination: Online objective test carrying 100 marks, with a total duration of 60 minutes.
- Main Examination: Online objective test carrying 200 marks, with a total duration of 120 minutes.
- Regional Language Test: Qualifying test only. No marks are added to the final merit score.
Approximately 15 times the number of State/category-wise vacancies may be shortlisted from Prelims for Mains. Final merit is based on the Main Examination score, subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test.
