Forex Officer

Forex Officer Scale III - Post Code S01

  • Age Limit: 25 to 35 years

  • Qualification: Graduate in any discipline along with a full-time regular MBA, PGDBA, PGDBM, PGPM or PGDM with specialization in Finance, International Business or Trade Finance.

General Banking Officer

General Banking Officer Scale III - Post Code G15

  • Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Banking, including at least 3 years as a Branch Head or Credit Officer.

General Banking Officer Scale II - Post Code G16

  • Age Limit: 22 to 30 years

  • Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Banking, including at least 1 year as a Branch Head or Credit Officer.

Chartered Accountant - Credit

CA - Credit Scale III - Post Code S79

  • Age Limit: 25 to 35 years
  • Vacancies: 45
  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant from ICAI, Cost Management Accountant from ICMAI, or Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute, USA.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Public, Private or Foreign Banks, including at least 3 years in Credit Appraisal or Corporate Credit Processing.

CA - Credit Scale IV - Post Code S80

  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
  • Vacancies: 30

Specialist Officer Exam Pattern

This pattern applies to Forex Officer, CA - Credit and Law Officer posts up to Scale III.

Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English Language are qualifying in nature and are not counted in the final merit.

Negative Marking and Qualifying Marks

  • One-fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • General and EWS candidates must secure at least 40% marks in each section.
  • SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates must secure at least 35% marks in each section.

Selection Process

  1. Online Examination: Candidates must appear for the applicable online written examination.
  2. Qualifying Cut-off: Candidates must secure the prescribed minimum marks in each section.
  3. Merit Shortlisting: A category-wise merit list will be prepared. Candidates may be called for interview in a ratio of 1:3 against the available vacancies.
  4. Personal Interview: The interview carries 100 marks and evaluates job knowledge, communication skills and suitability for the post.
  5. Final Merit List: Final selection will be based on the aggregate marks obtained in the online examination and interview.

Interview Qualifying Marks: 50 marks for General and EWS candidates and 45 marks for reserved-category candidates.
