What is CRP RRBs-XV?
CRP RRBs-XV is the Common Recruitment Process conducted by IBPS for 28 Regional Rural Banks.
- IBPS conducts, RRBs recruit: The online examination is conducted by IBPS, while interviews are coordinated by Nodal RRBs with NABARD.
- One officer post only: A candidate may apply for Scale-I, Scale-II, or Scale-III, but not for more than one officer post.
- Single Level Examination: Scale-II Generalist, Scale-II Specialist, and Scale-III have no Preliminary Examination. Candidates take one objective examination followed by an interview.
- Merit-cum-preference: Scale-II and Scale-III candidates are allotted to an RRB based on merit and preference rather than state-wise allotment.
- Validity: The CRP expires one year after the date of Provisional Allotment or upon fresh allotment.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university.
Preference Given To
Candidates with qualifications in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agri Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy may be given preference.
Experience
2 years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Eligibility for Officer Scale-III Senior Manager
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university.
Preference Given To
Preference may be given to candidates holding a degree or diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agri Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy.
Experience
Minimum 5 years as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Eligibility for Scale-II Specialist Officers
A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required wherever a percentage is prescribed.

Important: Results must be declared on or before 21.09.2026. CGPA must be converted into percentage. A score of 59.99% is treated as less than 60%.

What is different? The Specialist examination has 240 questions instead of 200, a duration of 150 minutes instead of 120 minutes, a Professional Knowledge paper carrying 40 marks, and a Language paper carrying 20 marks.

Remember: The Officer Scale-III examination pattern is identical to the Scale-II General Banking Officer pattern. Both have 200 questions, 200 marks, and a duration of 120 minutes. Eligibility and difficulty level differ.
Marking, Cut-off and Shortlisting
These rules apply to the Single Level Examination for Scale-II and Scale-III.
Negative Marking
One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for every wrong answer. There is no penalty for an unattempted question.
Sectional Cut-off
A candidate must obtain the minimum qualifying marks in every test of the Single Level Examination to be considered for the interview.
Shortlisting Ratio
Candidates in each category, not exceeding three times the declared vacancies, are called for the interview, subject to availability.
Scoring and Normalisation
Corrected scores across different examination sessions are normalised using the equi-percentile method. Scores are calculated up to two decimal points.
For Scale-II and Scale-III, marks obtained in the Single Level Examination are used both for interview shortlisting and for preparing the final merit list.
Interview and Final Selection
The interview is coordinated by the Nodal RRB with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS.

Registration is open from 01.09.2026 to 21.09.2026 at www.ibps.in.
- Register Online: Visit www.ibps.in and use the application link for Officers Scale-I, II, or III. Note the provisional registration number and password.
- Upload Documents: Upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration in English in the candidate's own handwriting, and 10th / SSLC certificate according to the prescribed specifications.
- Pay the Fee Online: Pay Rs. 850/- for General, EWS, and OBC candidates or Rs. 175/- for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. The fee includes GST, while bank transaction charges are borne by the candidate.
- Verify and Submit: Check all information carefully before final submission. Category and most eligibility-related details cannot be changed after the edit window closes.
