How to prepare for Computer Knowledge Section

Published on Friday, March 28, 2014
I had been noticing one thing in common for quite a long time that no matter how well candidates have prepared sections like Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English etc they are always found worried for computer knowledge section, especially among those who are literally from different backgrounds. But there is nothing to worry about it as this section is really very scoring.

Even if you are not from computer background or dislike this computer knowledge section , just by following my tips you would be able to score quite well

Basically questions are related to :-

1) Basic knowledge about computer history.

2) Over-view information about available Operating Systems, System/Application software’s, hardware devices like printer, plotter-their categories.3) Features available in Ms-Office packages i.e. Ms-Word, Ms-Excel, Ms-PowerPoint etc.

4) Knowledge on RAM/ROM, memory units like Mbps, Kbps etc would be added advantage.

5) Knowledge on latest computer technologies used in banks.

6) Be aware about the commonly used computer terminologies.

Just concentrate on above given points and even if you take up a single topic on a single day, it would be sufficient to complete this section properly within a week and would be able to score quite well.

I hope this article would serve to be useful for the competitive exams aspirants.
