GK questions asked in SSC CGL 2014 - Tier I - 19/10/2014

Published on Monday, October 20, 2014
This was the first time I’d given SSC CGL and without any SSC specific preparation, and I found it easy.

Reasoning had some mistakes in 1-2 questions, other wise was very easy. I attempted 34.

Maths was easy too, I could attempt 40.

English was difficult, questions made me think, I attempted 40.

General Knowledge, as I expected, was tough for me, because I have never studied G.K.; so I couldn't answer more than 18. But from the kind of questions I saw, for anyone preparing just for the last 6 months, it would have been cake walk!

So overall, I’d say it was an easy paper, any student preparing for SSC should be able to attempt 150+ easily.

I’m going to briefly outline the G.K. paper for the next batch’s benefit:
