Shortcut tricks and Vedic maths
I got this book from my brother 8 years back. He was using this book for CAT and he scored 99.99%ile in quantitative aptitude section of CAT. I was very much inspired by my brother's high score in CAT so I tried to replicate his methods. I started reading this book 8 years back when I was a school going kid, it made my life simple.
This book contains many vedic maths tricks. I always wanted to learn vedic maths but those old books were too big for me. M.Tyra gone through those big books and extracted some fantastic shortcuts and tricks for us.
Lacks practice questions
As I am not promoting this book, let me tell you that this book lacks adequate number of practice questions. This book just teaches you tricks, you need to find practice questions yourself. There are merely 20-25 questions at the end of every chapter which are simply not enough, further difficulty level of questions are not at par with IBPS exams.
Need update
As we experienced some chapters like probability and geometry got more weightage in IBPS and other banking exams, M Tyra's book doesn't concentrate on these chapters.
Final Verdict
M Tyra's quicker maths is the best book for bank exams preparations. I found it better than RS Aggarwal's books but it need some modifications. It lacks practice questions and few important chapters. As it provides shortcut techniques, it is a must buy for every bank exams aspirant. Get this from following link
