Directions (Q. 1-5): The bar graph shows the total number of children in five different school and the line graph shows the percentage of girls in them.

### Solution

1. e
Number of boys in School P= 1500*(80/100) = 1200
Number of boys in School R= 2000*(75/100) = 1500
Total number of students in P & R together = 1500+2000 = 3500
So, required % = (2700/3500)*100=77.14% = 77 (approx)

Total number of boys in school S & T together is
= 1500*(85/100) +2500*(70/100)
= 1275+1750
= 3026

3. b
Required Average is
= ½[2000*(75/100) +2500*(70/100)]
= ½[1500+1750]
= ½*3250
= 1625

Required Ratio is
= 1500*(20/100):2500(70/100)
= 6:35

5. a
Number of boys in School T = 2500*(70/100) = 1750
Number of girls in School S = 1500*(15/100) = 225
Required % = (1750/225)*100 = 777.77%= 778 (approx)
